Who We Are

At Odonnell Company, we are a team of changemakers who are dedicated to creating positive change in the world. Founded by siblings Dan and Eileen O'Donnell in 1996, our agency has evolved over the years to become a social sector consultancy that partners with government agencies and nonprofits to help solve some of the most challenging issues facing the world. With a focus on human beings and their potential for change, our approach considers what it means to be human: our challenges, our needs, our behaviors, and our decisions.

Early Childhood & Education

We work with state offices, nonprofit organizations, and private companies to create campaigns focused on critical issues like early childhood brain development and professional development for childcare providers.

Mental Health & Addiction

We have been at the forefront of making a difference in the mental health and addiction sectors, building strategies and implementing campaigns that promote harm reduction and ultimately save lives.

Public Health

In partnership with states and local health departments, we have created impactful campaigns on issues ranging from vaccination to sexually transmitted illnesses. We have also leveraged our considerable public health expertise to assist less-resourced projects.

Social Sector / Government

We have worked to promote inclusivity in the public sphere, crafting campaigns that promote secure elections and advise the community on how to find trusted information to combat misinformation.

Tourism & Economic Development

Our economic development work looks holistically at the communities our clients serve. We see developing economic possibilities and promoting tourism as fundamental to the momentum of community growth and vibrancy.

Transportation & Environment

We work with regional transit providers and state agencies to encourage the use of transit and alternative commute options as ways to increase community health and safety--all while improving the environment.
