Hi, I'm Britton, the founder of Empac. I'm a blend of creative designer, strategic marketer, and passionate problem-solver, always driven to build exceptional digital experiences that connect with customers on a meaningful level. My journey started unexpected, fueled by the excitement of the racetrack.

Growing up, my family and I were deeply involved in the world of dirt track racing, from go-karts to sprint cars and stock cars. To support our racing endeavors, I built a website to showcase my season and attract sponsors. Initially, I relied on templates, but as my needs grew, I found myself customizing and even building my own websites. This hands-on experience ignited a passion for web development and design that I knew would become an integral part of my future.

The financial challenges of the 2008 recession forced us to step away from racing. However, my love for building websites persisted. This led me to create Emerald Pacific, a brand focused on helping emerging action sports athletes build their own personal brands. I designed websites, marketing materials, and even apparel for skateboarders, snowboarders, BMX riders, and other talented individuals in the Northwest action sports scene. It was intensely rewarding, but it taught me valuable lessons about the struggles small businesses faced in establishing a strong online presence and marketing their unique offerings.

While working at the Apple Store to support Emerald Pacific, I had the opportunity to assist small businesses with their technology needs. This experience exposed me to the many challenges they faced, particularly in developing effective marketing strategies and creating compelling brand identities. I realized that many lacked the resources to invest in a comprehensive marketing program. To address this, I started offering my pro bono services to local non-profits, like HopeSparks and The First Tee, to help them craft impactful and visually appealing branding materials.

These experiences solidified my vision: to establish a company dedicated to empowering businesses of all sizes with the digital tools and marketing expertise they needed to thrive. And so, Empac was born. Our commitment remains steadfast: to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that elevate brands, engage customers, and drive tangible results.
